Picking up a fight with Choi Hong Man,
Staff and band-members, we’re all training together everyday at the live venue from about 11 am onward, but after that training is finished I keep on practicing for a while longer. Usually I practice Taekwondo at the dojo at my house, but during the tour there are also times when I don’t get around to do that, so I practice with this sandbag. I see the sandbag-puppet as a 2,10m tall human, and practise kicks.
You might say “you’ll never come across such a guy anyway!!”, but I always want to fight people like him!! That’s how I feel about it. Of course I shouldn’t kick (real) people, right? That’s why I have to try my hardest fighting Choi Hong Man!!
*Choi Hong Man is a South-Korean MMA (mixed martial arts) fighter. He’s 2,18m tall and considered to be the tallest and heaviest professional fighter of the world.

Back at practicing
Today from the sky above Nagoya
Since Ayu (Hamasaki Ayumi) will hold a concert in Nagoya today, I thought why not go watch it. Because she’s currently staying in Nagoya with her tour. During the lives and in between the lives there’s usually a lot of work to do, but today is practicing day. If you wonder what kind of practice it is, I practice flying a helicopter. A helicopter.
Since I want to get a pilot’s licence for the helicopter, I’m in the middle of practicing right now. Unfortunately the sky’s cloudy, sometimes it rains. Mah, because flying a helicopter is a bit dangerous I couldn’t stay in the air for a very long time, but it’s definitely fun. Whenever I’m at such a high place my heart becomes really clear. After the practice, I’ll go watch Ayu’s concert. It’s been a while since I last met Ayu…

Drip infusion everyday… …
On the day of the live I’ve been in the hospital since morning
We’re leaving at 9 am and I’ve been in the hospital up until then. Because everyday during the lives I scream until I have no voice anymore, after the lives are over I’ll have lost my voice completely. If I think about the next day I have to sing again of course, but if such a clever lifestyle was possible, I would probably choose a different lifestyle. What I can do today, I will do with all my might. If I would think about tomorrow and not live today seriously, I’d definitely regret it.
Even though I can’t live in any differnt way, that’s also part of the lifestyle that I’ve chosen myself. I’m going to the hospital in the morning, getting a drip infusion, stifling the inflammation. I admit it’s painful, but I keep going until my throat reaches it’s limits, too. But if you see this man’s stage and feel even a bit of courage, feel even a bit like you’re living your lives seriously, then my existance will have a meaning… … That’s all I’m doing. “At times like this, you have to laugh!!” Ahahaha.

Gackt’s abdomen “shrimp-chan”
I just love (doing the) “shrimp-chan”
We arrive at the live venue at 11 am. We change clothes and start training at once. Mah, that’s our everyday-schedule. Band-members, staff, everyone does it. We’re training for about two hours though, and that schedule is tough. This one is a special abdomen exercise that we call “shrimp-chan”. You lay yourself flat on your back and from that position raise your legs and upper body up to the position you see in the photo and hold your balance, you do this repeatedly. At the beginning I couldn’t do this, but ever since I became used to it I’m always rearing up a little bit like a shrimp. That’s why we call it “shrimp-chan”. Ahahaha.

I love practice!
While being off duty in between it’s Touch the Numbers!!
Touch the Numbers has become quite a topic to talk about lately, not matter if it’s in or outside of business!!
Recently I’ve been practicing to play it single-handedly. Why? Because during the tour all of the staff have started a tournament and it turned into a real competition. You see, I’m extremly fast with both hands. My current record is about 4.4 seconds. Today there’s no live, so I’m using the day for promotion work. Even in the dressing room of the studio, if I have time, I play Touch the Numbers!!
Really, this game is so much fun. Even though it’s training for the right hemisphere, it’s also a lot of fun as a game. By the way, the world record is 2 seconds. Of course you won’t get any of this if you don’t know the game. You should give it a try at once.
Because it’s an iphone-game, people who don’t have one, have to get themselves an iphone first. By the way, it was my birthday yesterday.
